We aim to support the development of future Landscape Architects and designers by offering meaningful early-career opportunities, including work experience placements for secondary school students and internships for university-level study. Over the past year, this has included three school-age work experience placements, two paid summer internships, the appointment of new recently graduated Landscape Architects into the practice, and the support of two interns from the University of Gloucestershire. Many of these pathways provide a foundation for longer-term involvement and progression within the team.
Alongside practice-based experience, we continue to support local higher education through guest lecturing at the Eden Project and Falmouth University, and by participating in the University of Gloucestershire careers fair. Through these activities, we aim to strengthen connections between education and practice, and to support emerging talent entering the landscape architecture profession.
