Mei Loci are looking for a talented Landscape Technician, with experience in AutoCad, 3D computer modelling and visualisation, to join our growing practice in Cornwall.  

Mei Loci are currently undertaking the design of a variety of exciting public and private landscapes, across Cornwall and the UK, with a focus on community, cultural and environmental landscapes. 

The position will be tailored to suit the skills and experiences of the successful applicant. Those who exhibit passion for design and creativity, are personable, enjoy working within a creative team and have a strong work ethic will be valued highly. Our studio fosters a nurturing working culture, and a commitment to quality while having fun. 

The successful applicant will have excellent skills in the visual communication, detailing and documentation of landscape design projects, with a high level of creativity and attention to detail.  Mei Loci is committed to an inclusive and respectful culture and we welcome diversity in our team, and are dedicated to creating an environmentally sustainable practice. 

We are looking for:

  • A Landscape Technician with excellent skills in 3D modelling, photoshop and visualisation, as well as AutoCad construction documentation and detailing.  Candidates will have a good knowledge of technical design, construction detail and specifications; a high level of competency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Experience in design and detailing for construction, preparation of specifications, and contract administration supported by evidence of delivering complex projects from design to construction.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • A strong portfolio in design and visualisation. 
  • Excellent AutoCad, SketchUp, and Photoshop skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both graphically and personally;
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also individually;
  • Ability to take the initiative and be creative;
  • Ability to work to a varying workload and tight deadlines;
  • Experience in construction detailing
  • Fluent in English;
  • Knowledge of BIM (Revit), and 3D Studio would be an advantage.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and Europe and possession of any relevant visas.
