Exciting plans are taking shape for the Illogan Wellbeing Gardens, and now’s your chance to help shape their future. The proposed designs aim to create a space for relaxation, connection, and nature-based wellbeing right in the heart of the community.
The concept includes a yoga and meditation zone, sensory planting areas filled with herbs and flowers, shaded seating spots, a wildlife pond, and even an edible garden with orchard trees. A meandering sensory trail, picnic shelters, and open lawns will offer something for everyone — from quiet reflection to family gatherings.
With features like Cornish hedges to boost biodiversity, year-round planting for seasonal interest, and accessible pathways, the project hopes to blend natural beauty with community use.
The Illogan Parish Council wants to hear from you — whether it’s what you love, what you’d change, or what else you’d like to see. Your input will help ensure this becomes a truly community-led space for wellbeing.
