We’re pleased to have supported Gwinear Gwithian Parish Council and the Connor Downs Residents Association in securing funding for the first phase of renovation works at the Elizabeth Sampson Playing Field, and we’re delighted to now be working with Kompan on delivering the project.
This first phase will bring new play equipment to the site, with construction starting on 22 September and completion expected this autumn. The designs were developed together with the local community, and Kompan were chosen for their high-quality, inclusive, and sustainable play equipment that met the community’s vision.
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with funding allocated by Cornwall Council’s Community Levelling Up Programme as part of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme.
