Mei Loci shut the office door yesterday to take our team out on a wild food foraging walk, led by the knowledgeable ‘Emma the Forager’!
We got back to basics, discovering and tasting edibles from the hedgerows, and coastal edge, from wild-carrot, wild-rose, to seaweeds and cress. We spend a lot of time in the office talking about fauna, so it was great to see plants from a different perspective and learn more about what’s on our doorstep, and spend time together botanising by the beach. There was a swim, of course, and wild-rose marshmallows toasted on the fire – delicious!
Huge thanks Emma from Never mind the Burdocks and to our brilliant and hard-working team!
